Is it legal to use 'google voice transcription' without two-party consent in the state of illinois?

my roommate has been transcribing our voice conversations over the phone without my knowledge or consent using google voice transcription. i live in the state of illinois. is this legal?|||Only if the apartment is his, and the phone line is in his name it is legal. If not it is illegal.|||not sure, but i doubt it would be allowed as evidence in a court case. btw, what were their intentions? i think i'd get a new roommate.
